/>Forgot BMI.  It&#8217;s flawed.  What you want to focus on is how much fat you have in terms of body fat percentage.</p><p>To lower your body fat requires you to exercise and eat properly in the following way:<br
/> 1) DO aerobic type exercises such as running, walking, jogging, riding exercycles and ellipticals.<br
/> Do them 4-5 times a week for at least 20 minutes.<br
/> 2) Cut out refined sugar and refined/bleached flour from your diet and eat foods high in fiber and made with whole grain.  Avoid anything made with hydrogenated oils and foods that have high amounts of saturated fats. />Be careful not to eat so much fruit that you give yourself the runs! If this happens just back off a bit.  Eating healthily helps your body to be at peak performance &#8211; certainly a poor diet would prevent you doing your best. If you are drinking a lot of water you can expect to lose it from the other end &#8211; its the water doing this rather than the fruit.  Don&#8217;t overdo the diet &#8211; make sure you get plenty of protein and don&#8217;t cut out the carbs even if you want to lose weight, as you will need the energy for your running etc. Just stick to your training &#8211; you deserve to be the tops.</p><p><strong>What do you think?
