isPermaLink="false">http://www.1-diet.net/2012/02/21/what-are-some-good-methods-for-loosing-weight/#comment-2608

Here are five simple yet sound tips that when followed could easily enable you to lose five pounds, or more, a week!Tip #1 – Cut the Carbs! Cutting down on your carbohydrate intake, particularly white carbs (that is, carbs from white bread, potatoes, etc.) and instead eating more high quality lean proteins (such as chicken and fish) is a great way to drop a few pounds quickly. But don’t cut carbs completely! You should still eat fibrous carbs, such as berries, spinach and apples.Tip #2 – Stop Eating Processed Foods! Instead eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains. Often, people who are used to eating a lot of junk food will discover they can actually a higher quantity of delicious fruits, vegetables and whole grains without gaining any weight.Tip #3 – Cut Down on Your Sugar Intake! In particular, watch how many sodas or juice drinks you consume. The sugar in these beverages can add up quickly and these drinks aren't filling. You should also watch out for "fat-free" products. Sugar is often used to replace the flavor that is lost when the fat is removed. You will also want to be careful about how much sugar you add to coffee and tea.Tip #4 – Drink More Water! Water naturally helps to suppress your appetite and drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day will help you lose weight and burn fat. On the other hand, if you don't drink enough water every day, your body may store water and fat that you don't need. To determine how much water you should drink: multiply your bodyweight by .66 to get the required number of ounces per day.Tip #5 – Exercise More Often! The healthiest way to lose weight is to exercise. Someone who increases the amount they exercise, but maintains the same diet and calorie intake, will almost certainly lose weight. Plus, excessive sweating from cardio activity, such as running, walking and using aerobic gym equipment, will help you de-bloat and lose inches and pounds quickly.But a word of caution, if you haven’t exercised in a while be sure to check with your physician first and also be sure to start any exercise program slowly.

Here are five simple yet sound tips that when followed could easily enable you to lose five pounds, or more, a week!

Tip #1 – Cut the Carbs! Throw in some ab exercises for some extra help with the stomach. It won't really make the weight go any faster, but it will tighten up your core and make you look skinnier. You can't really target area to lose weight, and it will take some time, but just keep at it.

Running/sprinting, squats, lunges, and biking. I play bball and I was pretty fast last year but over the summer I really decided that I was capable of so much more, so I regularly exercised and did weights and completely changed my diet to a healthy one for the best...I did this all during summer, and am continuing it right now, and i can happily say that Im close to like...peak athletic performance for a girl ;D.So yes, much more water will really help you if you keep upyour exercise, and especially the healthy eating...think about it: if you have a soccer gamet at night, and during the day you eat (poptarts and cinnabon for breakfast, snack on chips and choclate almonds, ssandwich with lots of mayo and cheese..im talkin like 7 slices or somethin lol, and a chocolate before ur game), i doubt you'll reach peak performance..so alternatively, you eat healthy :) so you can go longer in practice, meaning much better overall performance.remember that you need to eat from each food group, some less than others (like fats and whatnot). and please make sure you eat a good amount of protein...lots of girls i noticed overlook this. i make homemade protein bars..u should do this if it would help.you know, i just gotta say...we must be pretty dedicated to our sports to be doin all this, huh? for me, i know thats 110% true...keep it up girl!!

Definetly eating healthy will help your athletic performance…I know this well because it happened to me <img

When I bring home carrots, peppers and celery, I wash and peel and jullienne them and keep them in a container for a snack. A big time saver is buying the premixed and washed salads. In no time you can have a grilled chicken salad. You can also make a large batch of pasta or rice and package those in smaller dishes and reheat during the week. Keep diced onions and peppers on hand and make a quick egg scramble with your egg whites and top with a tablespoon of salsa to add some variety.

I buy larger packages of chicken breasts and when I want them for the week, I will season them and grill them, then store them in a container in the fridge for lunches or dinner.
